I went on a trip yesterday to the Hakone region of Japan. One of the places we stopped at was Moto-Hakone on the shore of Lake Ashi (Ashinoko). From there on a clear day like yesterday, you can see Mt. Fuji (Fujisan) rise up from behind the closer mountains.  You can see the Torri (or gate to a Shinto Shrine) of Hakone Shrine at the water’s edge. Here is my best shot from that day. I’ll post up more photos from that trip later, but wanted to get this one up here first.
